Why Here? Why Now?

Eurydice is a deceptively challenging play. It takes place a surrealist setting, uses poetic language and imagery, and deals with difficult themes (grief/mourning, relationships, memory, language, etc.)

Each year we work to challenge Wando Theatre students with the material we produce each year. This play will test your creative and intellectual minds, but I think it the challenge Wando Theatre students have been craving.

This play is about grief and the inability to let go of that grief, ultimately drowning in it. In a pandemic world, we know that many people are dealing with the grief of losing loved ones . This play will give us and our community a chance to feel these emotions and face our own challenges with loss and grief.
